SDI Solo Diver in Virginia Beach

The SDI Solo Diving is the practice of self reliant scuba diving without a “dive buddy.”Solo diving, once considered technical diving and discouraged by most certification agencies, is now seen by many experienced divers and some certification agencies as an acceptable practice for those divers suitably trained and experienced. Rather than relying on the traditional buddy diving safety system, solo divers should be skilled in self-sufficiency and willing to take responsibility for their own safety while diving. 

• Minimum age of 21
• Advanced Open Water certification from any recognized training agency
• Proof of 100 logged dives or more
• Experience diving from a boat in the ocean

  Pricing includes a base amount that covers the e-learning materials, certification fees, and instruction. Additional expenses include travel, accommodations, boat fees, rental gear, and required personal gear (this varies depending on course type).  All classes are non-refundable and it is the students responsibility to stay in touch with instructor. No guarantee to pass, remedial training may be required. All prices are for cash add 4% for CC purchases. It is up to you to make it class and be an active participant. There is no guarantee you will pass the class but we will do everything possible to get you diving. We will not just sign off though, we want you to be a safe and confident diver. If needed, additional sessions are $100 per session plus quarry/pool fees.
