Inshore Fishing

Virginia is known for it's world class inshore fishing, especially when it comes to cobia and drum. The chesapeake bay also attracts many other species such as spanish mackerel, blue fish, bonito, kings, spot, several shark species and more. Trips range from 4-8hrs, we recommend a 6hr trip for co All bait, rods, reels and ice are provided. Bring your own rods at your own risk (not responsible for lost or damaged articles). Fish cleaning is additional fee. Don't forget to tip your mate.
Wreck Fishing

Fishing 9hrs on the historic shipwrecks along the Virginia Beach Oceanfront year round. species targeted are Tautog, Black Sea Bass, Triggerfish and Flounder. All bait, rods, reels and ice are provided. Bring your own rods at your own risk (not responsible for lost or damaged articles). Fish cleaning available for an additional fee. Don't forget to tip your mate.
Offshore/Deep-Sea Fishing

Fishing 12hrs trolling out to the continental shelf for pelagic species that include yellowfin tuna , Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Wahoo, Swordfish, or deep dropping for Blueline Tiles, jumbo Sea Bass, Golden Tile fish, and Grouper. All bait, rods, reels and ice are provided. Bring your own rods at your own risk (not responsible for lost or damaged articles). Fish cleaning is additional fee. Don't forget to tip your mate.
Shared Fishing Trip
$130+ per person
Call Captain Tom @757-354-4606 or click book now to get your spot on one of our shared trips. The trips run 4-12hrs from Inshore to Offshore. This is great opportunity for solo anglers or smaller groups. We can carry up to 6 passengers. First deposits in get a spot for the trip. Tip for mate is not included. Minimum need for trip to run so share with your friends and on social media to help book the trip.

Join us for some of the best wreck diving on the east coast. We have over 30 sites to explore for any groups skillset. Diving with a buddy and smb w/spool is required. Safe diving practices are our top priority. Must have DAN/Tricare insurance, certification, log book & signed Waiver to book. 6 Divers/bubble watchers allowed.
It is customary to tip the Dive Master 20%. Technical diving trip for an added cost.

Walk-on Dive Charter

3hr Wildlife/Sight Seeing Tour
$450
Cruising along the Virginia Beach oceanfront and Chesapeake Bay, Kraken Charters offers dolphin watching trips as well as whale watching trips. We set ourselves apart by being a private family outing or just you and your friends. Cold water plus a cooler for food and drinks provided and a mate will be onboard for assistance. We can put together a nice Charcuterie board also. It is customary to tip the mate 20%. ($100 each additional hour)
Sunset Cruises
$350 & up
Sunset or Firework cruises range from 2-5 hours. Cruising the bay and enjoying the sunset and wildlife is a nice romantic evening to spend with loved ones. We can also anchor up for fireworks on select nights and have a swim party. Cold water will be provided, a cooler for drinks and food, and a mate for assistance on your boat charter. We can put together a nice Charcuterie board also. It is customary to tip the mate approximately 20%. ($100 each additional hour)
Party Cruise
$550
Grab your friends and lets Celebrate on the water! Custom Party Boat cruises are great for birthdays, bachelorette parties, graduations, spring break, girls day, any occasion is always better on the water. Jam out to tunes, sun tan, lay on a float, grill some food or dock-up at a local restaurant. We have several coolers for your food and drinks and a mate for assistance on your charter. It is customary to tip the mate approximately 20%. 4hr trip ($100 each additional hour)

Charter Information
Tips for your trip
- Bring a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt and rain gear. Some mornings can be cool. In winter, dress in layers.
- Bring sunscreen (no spray allowed).
- Bring a hat and sunglasses. Polarized sunglasses are preferred. They reduce the surface glare on the water.
- Bring your camera for capturing that moment
- Bring lunch, snacks, drinks, plenty of water
- Protect your lunch from water. Ziploc bags will do the trick. These can also be used for cameras, wallet, etc. A dry-bag is even better
- Please wear non skid, non marking soled shoes.
- We ask that you please leave all glass containers at home.
- Bring a cooler to transport you fish home.
- Bring your own rods at your own risk (not responsible for lost or damaged articles)
- Seas sickness meds take night before and another one the morning of the charter (Sorry no refunds for sea-sickness)
- MATES work for tips and they work hard for it!!! 20% is customary
